VALENTINES WEEKEND

FEBRUARY 17th-19th. GREAT WITLEY 

Your hosts this weekend are the Committee.

Supper Friday night, with a three course meal on Saturday night.
Not to mention a breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning.
This is just for the additional cost of £12 per Van.

This will be a fantastic weekend with fun and games for all.

MEXICAN WEEKEND

MARCH  09-11th LITTLE WITLEY VILLAGE HALL,

(Limited Rally 18 units)

This venue is hard standing in the space around the village Hall, it’s a really pleasant area close to Worcester and Stourport. The Village hall is booked for Friday and Saturday for a catch up and some  fun.
This Rally will be a Mexican themed rally, fancy dress, disco on the Saturday night with food available for an additional cost of  £12. 

Get your sombrero and poncho ready!

Site Fee:  £18 for the weekend

Route: from the M5 jct 5 take A38 towards Worcester, on the Droitwich by pass take the A4233 towards Ombersley, over the island to the junction with A433 SP Great Whitley. Stay on this road until you see the second sign for Little Whitiey, just as you drop down a small hill (post box on the corner of the road)  turn left and the Village hall is on your right . Post Code WR6 6LP

MARCH 30th- APRIL 1st CHALLENGE CUP WITH LANDROVER – SOCIAL CLUB - SHIPSTON ON STOUR (Limited to 20 units per club)

It’s that time of year again, when we get to challenge our skills against Land Rover, we’re poised at 3-3 so everything to play for. This rally is great fun and very noisy, as the defending champions , it’s our opportunity to heckle Land Rover and show them how good we are at darts and then skittles. We’re limited to 20 places each so get your booking slips in early and bring along something that makes a noise and cheer on THE MIGHTY LONGBRIDGE. Disco will follow the skillets to celebrate the win!!

Route:  A3400 from Stratford-upon-Avon to Tredington, turn right onto the A429 for 2 miles then turn left onto the B4035 to Shipston. Follow this road for a while then take first left into Sadlers Avenue, follow to the end and the club entrance is directly ahead of you. Post Code CV36 4DQ

APRIL 06-09th EASTER RALLY HOLDING STABLES, WILMCOTE

This is our regular Easter site. Within easy reach of Stratford and surrounding area, Mary Ardens house is just around the corner. There will be an Easter Bonnet making on Saturday, an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning and Egg Throwing competition (can you beat the current record?) Lots for the kids to do, great fun for everyone. We’re hoping to have the social club for the Saturday and Sunday entertainment . We’re limited the number of people we can have in the room so we will be issuing tickets to  the first people that book in, so get your slips in early

Site Fee:  £30 for 4 nights (extra nights £6.00 each) - £5.00 deposit to secure your place

Route:  A3400 from Stratford-upon-Avon road, look for the signs for Mary Arden’s house SP Wilmcote .  Pass the house and at the T-Junction turn right the site is on the right after a few hundred yards, behind the working men’s club. Post Code CV37 9XX

APRIL 20-22nd YOUTH RALLY   WATERSKI CENTRE, KINGSBURY

Brand new site for the club, this is a great venue situated on the edge of three lakes where there’s water skiing and various water sports available. The site is within easy access of Drayton Manor theme park if you’re feeling even more adventurous. We’re hoping to get a volley ball challenge up and running so get your teams together and general fun and games.

Route:  M42 Jnt9 Head towards  straight across the first islands, left at the second  island, through Kingsbury and the site is on your left hand side. Post Code B78 2DL

MAY 18-20th FURLONG FARM, RIPPLE

This is a great site and one we like to return to. The site has fabulous views of the countryside, although it is slightly sloping so would recommend bringing chocks to help you level. There is a great little pub in the village offering good food and it’s just a short walk away. Village hall booked for Saturday social

Route:  M5 Jct8 join the M50, exit Jct1 SP Malvern, turn right at first roundabout onto A38, go straight over second roundabout. Take 2nd Left turn to Ripple,  Site on Left just past Village Hall immediately passed village hall, don’t go through the village. Post Code GL20 6EU

 JUN 01-05th LYONTON TOP, RUTLAND WATER

A return to this great site, set in 112 acres of tranquillity, with excellent views, fabulous walks and opportunities to ride your bike around the lake. There’s a pub not far from the site, the walk means you’ll enjoy the drink at the end of it. This is Diamond Jubilee weekend so although it’s a little further afield you have longer to recover from the drive and enjoy the peace. Celebrate the monarchy in the party tents Saturday evening  cheese and wine. Theme for the weekend red, white and blue, prize for the best dressed van.

Site Fee:  £8.00 per night

Route:  Take the A47 from Leicester, at roundabout turn left onto the A6003 towards Oakham. Pass through Preston, after 1 mile turn right at the top of the hill SP Rutland Water South Shore, after 1 mile turn left onto lane SP Nature Reserve, pass over cattle grid and the site is on the right. Post Code  LE15 8JZ

JUNE 02-09th SPRING BANK HOLIDAY – POOH COTTAGE BUDLEIGH SALTERTON DEVON

Just 1 mile from Budleigh Salterton and 3 miles from Exmouth and it’s sandy beaches. The site has a the usual facilities including shower & toilet block, children’s play area and is a short walk from a good old pub. Buses close by to take you into Exmouth and Sidmouth.   

Site Fee:  £XX for the week.  Deposit £30 required.  Full payment required by the end of April. Saturday arrivals after 10.00am only

Route:  Leave M5 at Jct. 30, take A376 Exmouth road, at Clyst St George turn left onto the B3179, turn right onto the B3180/B3179 towards Budleigh Salterton. Turn left into Knowle village on B3178, go past pub and hall, on top of the hill turn left into Bear Lane. Go up the lane over the railway bridge and left into the site Post Code EX9 7AQ

JUNE 08-10th BOURTON ON THE WATER

We return to this lovely area of the Cotswolds. A short walk into the village where there is plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to grouse and try. Younger members can visit the car museum and see "brum" and the butterfly farm is well worth a trip!

Route:  take A429 through Morton-in- Marsh and Stow-on-the –Wold look for signs to Bourton-on-the-Water. At T-Junction in Bourton urn left, after passing Birdland on the right look for Bourton Rovers Football Club on left in 500 yrds. Post Code GL54 2AQ

JUNE 15-17th BIRTHDAY RALLY LENCHFORD ARMS SHRAWLY

This is our Birthday weekend, we had a great time last year and we want it to be even better this year.  We have RANG-A-TANG the midlands ultimate party band booked for Saturday evening, They really know how to get the party going with a swing. We’re hoping that food will be available during the weekend either on site or at the Pub just across the field. We’ll also have lots going on during the weekend . Egg throwing, dog fancy dress competition (you know they’ll love it), penny faire on the Saturday afternoon, if you want to sell any unwanted items bring them along (£5.00 for a table), there will also be raffles and the usual games through out the weekend .  We’ll also be raising funds for our chosen charity throughout the weekend, so please help us do whatever we can. We really want this to be our biggest and best Birthday yet…. to do that, we need you!!!

JUNE 29th – JULY 01st CHILDRENS RALLY UMBERSLAND CHILDRENS FARM

A firm favourite with young and old, this family run farm and has been operating since the early 1800 has tractor rides, animals to feed, horse rides, milk a goat, bottle feed some of the baby animals and so much more.  It’s also set in lovely countryside and a short drive from the lovely village of Tanworth –in-Arden

Site Fee:  £8.50 per night

Route:  From Approaching Birmingham from A435. Take the B4101 to Tanworth-in Arden. Follow the brown farm signs Post Code B94 5AE

JUL 20-22nd MUCH MARCLE STEAM RALLY

A real blast from the past, this weekend used to be a firm favourite, it’s back by popular request. Steam rally on Saturday, Weston Cider works is just around the corner, open where you may be able to meet Ben and Senator, Weston’s two working shirehorses and take a look around the visitor centre. We’re hoping to book a tour of the works on Saturday morning – keep an eye on the website for details

Site Fee:  £7.00 per night

Route:  A440 Ledbury to Ross on Wye, on entering Much Marcle, turn right at the Cross Road Garage, continue along the lane until you reach a large oak tree, turn right and the site is on the left just along from  the pub. Post Code for reference only Cider works is HR8 2NQ you turn right before you reach the cider works at the Oak Tree .

AUGUST 10-12th  AVON BANK MEADOW WYRE PIDDLE

A really quiet site for those wanting a relaxing weekend watching the boats float past. Easy walking distance of Pershore across the fields, whilst Evesham is also a short drive away. This is a prestigious rally being run by your President and Vice President so come along and offer your support

Route:  From Leave M5 at Jct 6 take A4538 to Wyre Piddle, turn off bypass into Wyre Piddle, turn right at the monument. Carry on past the houses into the narrow lane . Site entrance through the marina on left.  Post Code WR10 2JF

AUGUST 24-27th BANL HOLIDAY RALLY RIVERSIDE BRIDGENORTH

Riverside is a location we return to year after year – a short walk from Bridgenorth which is a fabulous town with lots to do, ride the cliff railway to visit High Town, there is often something going on over the bank holiday weekend to keep everyone amused.  The Seven Valley Railway is close by if you fancy a trip down memory lane. This is our preparation weekend for Lickhill Carnival – so come help us build, paint, hammer and glue the ‘gubbins’ for our float

Route:  From Kidderminster take A422 to Bridgenorth. In approx.15 miles site on the left just before the roundabout.  Post Code WV15 6BY

AUGUST 31st – SEPT 02nd CARNIVAL RALLY LICKHILL MANOR

This is the Carnival Rally we’ve been attending for over 30yrs… Last year we entered a carnival float for the first time and were ‘Highly commended’   We have a float to decorate and have entries in the walking parade too so it will be ‘all hands on deck’. For those that want a quieter weekend a walk along the river will take you to Stourport, you can still cheers us on from the comfort of a local pub!! Entertainment and last minute preparations will take place on Friday evening, we understand that other clubs that use Lickhill too on this weekend plan put floats in to the Carnival too, following our lead last year! So ours has to be bigger and better than last year. Kids if you want to join us on the float or the walking parade – get your Moms and dads to bring you along and get involved. Big Kids we need all the help we can get. There’s usually a great firework display in the evening, along with a funfair. Really popular rally so get your slips in early

Site Fee:  £11.00 with Electrics £8.50. per night (35 electric points – first booked will be allocates) Deposit £5.00 to secure your place.  There will also be £1.00 charge for a programme

Route:  From Kidderminster take A451 to the first major set of traffic lights (almost onto Stourbridge ringroad) Turn right onto the B4195. After approx 2 miles turn right at the traffic lights follow the road and the site is on the right. Look for Lickhill Manor signs. Post Code DY13 8RL

SEPTEMBER  14-16th  ROBIN HOOD INN CASTLE MORTON

Nestling just at the foot of the glorious Malvern Hills the pub also provides a spacious Garden where you can relax. Traditional English cooking in a welcoming oldie world bar, try one of their popular home made pies and a pint. Opportunity to relax and take things easy and let the welcoming owners take the strain, karaoke most Saturdays through out the year.

Route:  M5 south to J8 (M50) At the junction follow the A38 south to Tewksbury. Turn right onto the A438 sp Ledbury. Approx 4 miles turn right at the crossroads (B4208)  SP Castle Morton, Pub at the top of the hill on the right – through the car park

SEPTEMBER 28 -30th HIMLEY HALL AND PARK

A Great site set in the ground of the Hall. The Crooked House is close by if you fancy a walk with a pint at the end of it. Merry Hill is a short drive away, if you want to start your Christmas shopping early, or just take a wander around the park , the ground are really pretty.

Route:  Take A491 from Stourbridge towards Wolverhampton, through Kingswinford, take 2nd exit onto A449 at island, turn right at next set of traffic lights onto B4176. Site on the left, use the 2nd gate  Post Code DY3 4DF

OCTOBER 05-07th AGM RALLY YEW TREE FARM, FAR FOREST

All pitches here have electric, so whatever the weather you’ll be snug and warm. This is your opportunity to have your say. Come and let us know what you think, if you’re happy we want to know about it so we can do more, if you’re not happy come along and get involved and change things. Member and no members are very welcome on the rally. For our member the   AGM starts at 17.00 in the village hall, just a short walk away.

Following the AGM there will be a social evening where everyone on the rally can come and join us to celebrate the year.

DECEMBER 07-09th BARNSTONES BANBURY (limit 25 units)

One of our favourite venues, all hard standing pitches with a great shower and toilet facilities. Banbury is a short drive away, where you can put the finishing touches to your Christmas shopping, or start it if you’re a little less organised. Village hall booked for Saturday social
